North Wind

North Wind comprise flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon. We share a passion for music and performance and play a wide variety of music ranging from baroque through to contemporary.We have performed regularly together since 1999 in a variety of venues, primarily in the North of England.

As well as concerts, we have also played for weddings, memorial services, car launchings, art exhibitions and formal dinners. Our programmes are devised individually to provide a variety of musical styles for each occasion.

Mozart on Tweed


'Mozart on Tweed' weekend festival held at Kelso Old Parish Church.

We performed Mozart Adagio & Rondo in C (arranged by Geoffrey Emerson), Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin, Francaix L'heure du berger and ended with the piano and wind quintet in E flat by Mozart.

In the evening we joined members of the Yetholm Sinfonia (http://www.yetholmsinfonia.com/) in an all Mozart programme.
